Shepherd’s effort was the fastest fifty of the 2025 IPL season, eclipsing Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s 17-ball half century for Rajasthan Royals against the Gujarat Titans.
The West Indies batter’s innings got RCB to 213 runs against Chennai Super Kings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The all-rounder helped RCB accumulate 54 runs in the final two overs of the innings, scoring four boundaries and six sixes.
