Abhishek Sharma lit up the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Saturday, smashing a blistering 100 off just 40 balls in the IPL 2025 clash between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings.
The 24-year-old southpaw went on to score a sensational 141 off 55 deliveries, etching his name into the IPL record books. His explosive knock now stands as the third-highest individual score in IPL history.
Topping the chart is Chris Gayle’s iconic 175* for Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Pune Warriors back in 2013, a record that still stands tall. Brendon McCullum’s memorable 158* in the very first IPL match in 2008 holds the second spot.
Here’s a look at the top five highest individual scores in IPL history:
-

-
Abhishek Sharma – 141 (2025)
